Abstract
We describe two different definitions of spatial chirp and discuss their differences. We also show that pulse-front tilt arises, not only from angular dispersion, but also from simultaneous spatial and temporal chirp. We verify these results experimentally using GRENOUILLE, which measures both spatial chirp and pulse-front tilt.
