Abstract
We have modeled asymmetrical frequency selective surfaces. The resonant wavelength of some of these relatively unstudied devices is influenced by the polarization state of the incident light. The transmissivity and reflectivity for one linear polarization component can be controlled by the amplitude and relative phase of its orthogonal component.
