Abstract
Teflon AF® tubing has been used as a liquid core optical fiber (LCOF) to enhance the strength of Raman signals collected from urine samples. Data were collected from both the LCOF and traditional cuvette geometries. Creatinine and ethanol predictions in urine samples have been made using chemometric analysis. The improvement in signal to noise ratio leads to better root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP).
