Abstract
We study spectra of one-dimensional multiple quantum well photonic crystals. Properties of these structures depend on interplay between spatial modulation of the refractive index and interaction between light and excitons. We described this interplay for an arbitrary angle of incidence and polarization by renormalizing exciton-light coupling strength and optical path.
