FWM Frequency Generation in Topological Floquet Defect Mode Resonance

Abstract

We demonstrate frequency generation by four-wave mixing using novel cavityless Floquet defect mode resonance in 2D silicon microring Floquet topological lattice, achieving a conversion efficiency enhancement of 12.5 dB over the edge mode alone.
