Enhancement of Surface High-Harmonic Generation Efficiency through Soliton Dynamics

Abstract

Using numerical simulations we show that the use of soliton dynamics in gas-filled hollow-core capillaries can alter the waveform of a laser pulse and enhance the efficiency of surface high harmonic generation.
