Abstract
In recent years, considerable attention has been given to the production and characterization of x-rays bursts generated from solid density, ultrashort pulse laser produced plasmas.[1,2] These x-ray sources are very bright and extend from the VUV to hard x-rays which make them useful as novel light sources for numerous applications in material science, medicine, chemistry and physics. Strict characterization of these light sources is required for routine use.
