Abstract
Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) is widely regarded as a promising option to increase the bandwidth and flexibility of broadband optical communication systems. In such systems, multi wavelength laser sources [I], both for selectable single wavelength and simultaneous multiple wavelength operation, will be important components.
