Abstract
This paper reports on the fabrication process of As-S-(Se)-based chalcogenide glass optical waveguides using two techniques: photolithography and laser writing. Scattering losses measurements inside a multilayer rib-waveguide and refractive index calculation by a grating coupling technique are described.
