Abstract
We demonstrate high-power low-beam-divergence InP-based coupled ridge-waveguide laser arrays with chirped structure and bilateral lossy regions, emitting at 2.1μm. A high output power of 521mW and a far-field distribution with dominant central lobe were achieved.
