Abstract
In polarization spectroscopy, a crossed analyzer is usually employed to block the linearly polarized probe and eliminate Doppler broadening. Some small rotation of the analyzer is often adapted to detect small signals with high sensitivity. In this case, the small Doppler-broadened background absorption appears in the polarized signal. Moreover, it is expected that signals in saturation spectroscopy or Lamb dip signals can also pass through the tilted analyzer.
