Abstract
The concept of Anderson localization, that is, localization due to randomness, is one of the most interesting new concepts of contemporary physics.1 This strong type of localization pertains to the absence of diffusion in random materials as a result of interference of all the scattered waves. A precursor of Anderson localization, sometimes referred to as weak localization, concerning enhanced backseattering in a strongly scattering random medium, was first pointed out for electrons by Abrahams et al.2
