Abstract
The theory and experiment for coupled-multiple-stripe (CMS) lasers have been widely developed in recent years. With coupling between single stripes, the CMS laser could operate coherently at a high power level. So its stability mainly depends on every stripe's characteristics. We propose a novel structure which consists of many groups composed of two or more closely spaced stripes; we call these coupled units.
