Abstract

The kinetics and spectroscopy of the interhalogens have been extensively studied. In particular, the production of IF(B³π) by collisions of ground state IF(X'Σ) with both NF(b'Δ) and O(a'Δ) has been examined. We examined the efficiency and kinetics of the production of IF(B) in the following systems:
