Induced Modulational Instability in an Optical Fiber Loop

Abstract

We analysed the induced modulational instability in an opical fiber loop. Unlike the conventional fiber loop mirror, the optical fiber loop in consideration is composed in the manner: the exit terminal I of the X coupler is connected to the inlet II of the coupler (Fig. 1).
