Abstract

The modelling of colliding plasma streams is an interesting problem of plasma physics in regard to inertial confinement fusion concepts and some astrophysical phenomena. Moreover the collision processes and energy transport mechanisms taking place in interacting plasmas influence the level population densities. The possibility of an inversion generation has been investigated.
