Abstract
Nonclassical states of the light can be generated in hybrid system (such as feedback semiconductor lasers[1]). A little attention has been given to this system because the nonclassical light is generated within the feedback loop and cannot be extracted for the uses in precise optical measurements unless 'quantum non demolition detection (QND) is used for output coupler. However, recent interests in QND measurement of quantum statistics of the light beam by atom-beam deflection[2] remind of the hybrid system for producing nonclassical states of the light, because of the potential uses in the investigations of the interaction of atoms with nonclassical lights. In this letter, we demonstrate a very simple hybrid system, AOM squeezing device, for generating three types of nonclassical light: squeezed states, amplitude squeezed states and nonclassical correlation states. The hybrid AOM device used here may be suitable for the investigations of interaction of atoms with nonclassical lights which exist in the feedback loops, because in our schemes the nonclassical lights can be easily obtained from tunable dye lasers.
