Abstract

Since the proposal of squeezing with optical pulses in a nonlinear symmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometer[1] or a fiber ring reflector,[2] noise suppression has been observed experimentally.[3,4] The analysis was limited to the case when the pump radiation is in a coherent state.[2,5]
