Abstract

Recently it has been proposed that crossphase modulation (XPM) in the spatial domain should lead to novel transverse instability and focusing effects induced by co-propagating beams.[1,2] Those effects are the spatial analogues of well known XPM spectrotemporal phenomena.[3]
