Not Accessible

Abstract

A dispersive gas or vapor in a laser accelerator[1-3] can significantly increase (1) the energy exchange, (2) the interaction length over vacuum laser accelerators, and (3) realize 3-D stability of the particle beam. Drift tubes and focusing devices are not necessary.
