Abstract
Semiconductor-nanocrystal-doped materials demonstrate novel linear-, nonlinear-and electro-optical effects and offer new opportunities for practical applications in optoelectronics and integrated optics. Therefore much attention is now being paid to developing new methods for preparing semiconductor-quantum-dot (SQD) structures to be compatible with technologies of optoelectronic devices and integrated-optical systems.
