Abstract
The generation and detection of coherent vi-bronic excitations in semiconductors1 and semiconductor heterostructures2−4 have attracted great interest throughout the last years. The dephasing times extracted from time-resolved experiments are of importance for our understanding of electron-phonon and phonon-phonon interaction. Due to the high thermal population of low-energy excitations at room temperature, the dynamics of acoustic phonons are of special importance.
