Abstract
Volumetric optical disks increase the recording density by using multilayer as media where data are recorded in each layer of the multilayer stack[1]. In dual-layer ROM (Read-Only Memory) disk[2], the upper data layer was designed to be semi-reflective so that the readout beam could partially transmit to the total-reflective data layer. Besides, a spacer layer[3] with adequate thickness was used between two data layers to reduce the interlayer crosstalk.
