Abstract

Using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS), we observe the broad-band absorptions below 110 K in TmFeO₃ single crystals, which are reasonably assigned to a series of crystal-field transitions of ground multiplets (⁶H₃) of Tm³⁺ ions.
