Abstract
NASA Goddard's Stratospheric Ozone Lidar Trailer Experiment (STROZ LITE) was deployed at JPL's Table Mountain Facility (34.4N, 111.7W) during July 1989 for the purpose of intercomparing with other types of ozone sensors. This paper discusses some of the Goddard results and compares them with a new microwave instrument (co-located at Table Mountain), and with in-situ measurements of ozone from rocket-borne sondes (launched from San Nicholas Is., about 100 miles west of Table Mountain).
