Abstract
Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy is applied as a qualitative measure for the combustion of solid-fuel wooden pellets. Results indicate a distinct presence of H, N and O species from sampling the uncombusted solid fuel surface and combustion region as well as the detection of K species.
