Common Path Phase Shifting Interferometry with Arbitrary Phase Steps

Abstract

A phase shifting technique for common path interferometry is reported that determines the phase from a series of N interferograms with arbitrary phase steps. Examples are shown that demonstrate the high accuracy of this method.
