Abstract

An interferometric temperature sensor based on a Mach -Zehnder all fiber configuration is proposed. The interferometer was fabricated by double tapering a single mode fiber and tested on surrounding liquid media whose temperature was varied showing a high sensitive sensitive performance performance of 0.035nm/°C.
