Absolute Calibration of Optical Detectors Using Two-Mode Squeezed Light

Abstract

A squeezed two-mode light source is used to demonstrate the absolute efficiency calibration of a photon-number-resolving detector. This is a higher dynamic range generalization of the method by Klyshko for single-photon detectors.
