Abstract
Diffraction patterns with varying distance between illumination-source and the object are recorded. This has the same effect as changing the object sensor distance, with the advantage of preserving the resolution. Its usefulness for biomedical imaging, to assist the discrimination between tumorous and healthy tissue, is demonstrated.
