Abstract
We propose a method to improve the quality of the holographic display using digital micro-mirror device (DMD). The binary hologram for DMD can be generated effectively with single-sideband Fourier holography and multiplying random phase distribution. To improve the quality of the reconstructed image from the binary hologram, time multiplexing technique is adopted. The simulation and experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed method.
