Noise properties of a mid-IR Quantum Cascade Laser Frequency Comb

Abstract

We characterize the low (<10 Hz) and high phase-noise regimes of the intermode beat of a QCL based frequency comb. It shows a stability of 10−6 and comb tooth linewidth of 150 kHz.
