Abstract
The framework of Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is fabricated and experiment is performed on calibration by plane mirror reflectors and tomographic imaging. Results demonstrate that the longitudinal resolution of the OCT is equal to 14.1 μm and the penetration depth of rice approach to 0.48mm. The maximum penetration depth is discussed and the value in tissue is concluded. The relation between penetration depth and lateral resolution is also illustrated.
