Abstract
Self-starting phase conjugation processes have been theoretically and experimentally studied in various contexts1–2, for open resonator, semilinear mirror, double phase conjugator, etc. In particular, as in the study of laser oscillations and resonators, the threshold conditions and the build up dynamics are of fundamental as well as applied importance.
