Abstract
The thermal nonlinearity of air at 1.064 microns was measured to be (-5.7 ±0.6) ×1014cm2/W using a high-finesse Fabry-Perot cavity and a 500 mW cw laser with a 0.27 mm beam waist. The dominant contributant was identified as O2.
