A frequency domain cross-correlation technique for measuring the linewidth of difference frequency generated radiation

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel approach for measuring the linewidth of difference frequency generated radiation. The technique may be applied to any frequency in the far-infrared and mid-infrared and is well suited for narrow linewidth sources.
