Wideband 102.7 km Raman Amplified Link Study

Abstract

We experimentally optimize a hybrid Raman and doped fiber amplified 102.7 km fiber span with a 19.3 THz, S/C/L-band signal, observing different optimal per-band launch powers when applying backward-only and bi-directional Raman pumps.
