Abstract
We describe techniques for routinely measuring the reflectance from small samples with higher spectral and temporal resolution than are obtained with previous methods. These techniques were developed to facilitate the design process of medical instrument/reagent systems manufactured and marketed by our company. An example of our products is a shirt-pocket sized, battery-powered instrument used along with solid phase reagent strips to monitor blood glucose levels, typically used by diabetics.
