Future of manufacturing with optical microlithography

Abstract

Optical microlithographic technology has been used for the manufacture of semiconductor devices for over 30 years. It has shown remarkable technological stamina and has repeatedly confounded those who have predicted its demise as the feature sizes used in semiconductor devices have been decreased.
