Two-photon photodissociation of H2O in flames by a KrF excimer laser

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Two-photon photodissociation of H2O by means of a narrowband tunable KrF laser at 248 nm is investigated for use as an H2O measurement technique in flames. To the authors' knowledge, these are the first reported spectral measurements of two-photo-dissociation fluorescence of H2O in flames.
