High dynamic range blood flow imaging with spectrally extended line field OCTA

Abstract

Quantification of flow velocity is of great interest with regards to disease diagnosis and management. However, high dynamic range flow imaging requires more B-scans than the standard OCTA. We propose a 'frequency flow' scanning mechanism based on spectrally extended line field (SELF) scheme, which enables multiple inter-scan time with 2 B-scans and overcomes the trade-off between dynamic range and imaging field of view.
