Probing Elastic Anisotropy in Human Skin in vivo with Acoustic micro-tapping OCE and Polarization-sensitive OCT

Abstract

We show that all three of skin’s elastic moduli defining its deformation and the local orientation of fibers in dermis can be determined with a non-contact method combining optical coherence elastography and co-registered polarization-sensitive OCT.
