Abstract

Clock recovery is an essential function for triggering signal processing functions after a transmission link. With increasing data rates optical signal processing and optical clock recovery covering the 40 to 160 GHz range is of current interest, e.g. for full optical 3R regeneration (Reamplification, Retiming, Reshaping).1
