Abstract
Photonic crystal lasers are small lasers that can densely integrated and tuned lithographically.1 As such, they are potentially an attractive source for future WDM systems. In this study we begin to study the precision and the resolution at which the wavelength can be defined lithographically. We define and characterize an array of photonic crystal lasers in which lattice constant is varied across the array in small increments.
