Abstract
A novel white-light interferometry is presented for fiber dispersion measurement. The acquired spectrally-resolved two-dimensional interferogram enables interference-instability-free, instantaneous determination of group delay and dispersion. Various fibers including a birefringent photonic-bandgap fiber were precisely characterized.
