Abstract

We propose ultrahigh-speed multifunctional all-optical logic gates AND, NOR, XNOR, $S_{1} {\bar{S}}_{2}$ , ${\bar{S}}_{1} S_{2}$ , XOR, half adder, half subtracter, decoder and comparator based on four-wave mixing in semiconductor optical amplifiers with polarization-shift-keying modulated signals.
