Abstract
PAM-4 modulation up to 56 Gb/s of a 1.3-µm InGaAlAs-MQW, low-RIN (< −150 dB/Hz) DFB laser, based on a simple, high volume manufacturing capable, ridge-waveguide (RWG) platform, operating upto 70 °C, is experimentally demonstrated.
