Comparison of transfer matrix stability between a 110 km 7-core coupled-core multi-core fiber and single-mode fiber

Abstract

We use dual-comb spectroscopy to compare the stability and wavelength dependence of mode coupling in a 110 km coupled multi-core and a regular single-mode fiber. Phase and intensity fluctuations are compared, revealing differences in coupling dynamics.
