Equalizer Convergence for various Transmission Channels and Multi-Rate Upstream 50G-PON

Abstract

We assess the feasibility of multiple transmission channel and multi-rate upstream 50G-PON. The TDEC shows that a unique preset filter may be used at both 50Gb/s and 25Gb/s to meet interoperability without adaptive equalization.
