Filter-Less Synthesis of 50-GHz Double-Spaced Flat Optical Comb by In-phase/Quadrature Electro-Optic Modulator for High Bandwidth Transmission

Abstract

50-GHz spaced flat optical comb is experimentally generated in the electro-optic modulation process by using an IQM driven with 25 GHz signals. We demonstrate that the double-frequency-spaced comb effectively carries multi-channel 5x28 Gbaud signals.
